I have always enjoyed learning new skills and experiencing different environments – and my academic record reflects this. I started off studying electronic engineering in Geneva before working in the electronics industry for two years. After that, I went in search of a new challenge, studying a BSc in Computer Science at Newcastle University in the UK, and then working as an analyst developer at a large international private bank.

As I particularly enjoy working with people, I then moved direction, becoming a Management Consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Zurich. During my time there, I worked in a number of different banks. After that, it was time for yet another change. I went back to the UK to study for a postgraduate diploma in Economics at the London School of Economics (LSE), which is one of the top European schools in the field.

My different studies have given me a complete and very rounded vision of banking, and my different jobs have helped me get a good overall picture of the industry. In 2004, I decided to put all this experience into co-founding Orbium. It’s very important for me to feel that I am building something – and I think Orbium is the perfect environment for this. I get to work on a whole variety of stimulating and challenging projects that deliver significant results for our clients. It’s extremely satisfying to help clients achieve their objectives. Of course, I’ve also had the satisfaction of seeing Orbium grow as a company. And we’ve still got lots more growing to do!

I have always taken pride in my work, and I believe it’s important that Orbium is ethical both with its employees and its clients. In other words, every experience at Orbium has to bring something to the employee as well as the company. Most of all, I enjoy the team spirit. We have a team of smart, motivated people with extremely multi-cultural backgrounds. As I have a Spanish father, a Belgian mother, grew up in Switzerland and have lived in England, it’s an environment that suits me very well indeed!
