Avaloq, B-Source and Orbium Best of Breed Partnership
Lugano, 27th September 2009 – Orbium, Avaloq and B-Source successfully held their second joint event; presenting their solution to potential client banks. The first event was held in Geneva in May 2009 and proved to be success. The joint Avaloq, B-Source and Orbium events were conceived to communicate the benefits and advantages to be had from this best of breed partnership.
The three companies decided to further tighten their existing collaboration and partnership into a joint solution because they identified the value added this partnership could offer companies’ in the banking industry. Essentially the solution is top of the notch back office outsourcing performed by B-Source, based on a leading core banking system: Avaloq; and professionally delivered and implemented by Orbium. The basis of the value proposition is that each partner concentrates on its core strengths thus providing clients’ best industry practices and expertise from individual disciplines.
Most importantly this solution represents an effective business model from which derive important strategic and financial advantages. This is especially true for small to mid sized banks, which is the reason for which most of the joint events are customized for this market.
In response to the success of the first two events in Geneva and in Lugano, Avaloq, B-Source and Orbium intend on continuing their joint event. The next one is scheduled for November the 24th in Zurich.
